    Nice, quick work chunnel! Good job! Just curious, Snowhog indicated you were not putting GRUB on the Windows drive (and thus overwriting the Windows bootloader in the MBR). Where did you put GRUB--on the Windows drive or on a Kubuntu/Linux drive MBR?

      GRUB was installed on sdd, the same drive I installed Kubuntu on. I then kept changing the first boot drive in Bios until on the last drive, (isn't it always?) it booted into GRUB. Windows MBR is safe and sound.
