[Solved] WUBI install = fine. CD won't mount = can't install hardware drivers.

Hey Kubuntu-nutronitarianites! (whatev.... no new catchy name there :P)

    Here's my sitch.
My main OS is Win7. I've installed Kubuntu via WUBI while inside Win7, but on a separate fat32 partition.
Everything goes off without a hitch.
Once I've booted into Kubuntu all seems fine.
I can browse all partitions on my HDD. I can even browse my DVD drive and see the Kubuntu LiveCD.
The problem arises when I bring up the Hardware Drivers application. Nothing is there.
I attribute that to the system not seeing the info from the LiveCD.
I then bring up kPackage and check the repositories. Nothing is selected.
I check the only 3 available, and for safe measure try to add my LiveCd. 8)
PROBLEM: it will not recognize that the CD is in the drive. (but it is... and i can browse it.)

This is where I am stuck. Once I get the LiveCD properly mounted I am golden.

Any tips to get this sorted out?

    Thnx in advance,
    Syn

PS: I could just connect to internet via ethernet but I want to get Kubuntu fully installed completely with the LiveCD. Mainly for the graphics and wireless drivers.

    Got it figured out.
a REBOOT with the CD in was needed after adding the LiveCD to the software sources under KPackage>Settings>Edit Software Sources>Other Software.

I successfully installed b43-fwcutter from the LiveCD so I don't have to use ndiswrapper. Got WiFi workin'. Next stop: nVidia drivers!

Will the fun will ever end?!?!?
