Twice today, starting up my laptop, the computer somehow bypassed my KDE graphical login screen and went straight to KDE start and froze on the disk icon (the screen where the last icon to pop up is the Kicker button into my session). First time I thought it was a disk check, but there was no disk activity so I logged into another screen and issued a reboot. It started up with no issues after that. But then coming back to the laptop a few hours later, same odd behavior. Is it a diskcheck that I should let finish or is it something else? How would I check to see it isn't something really nefarious?
Thanks in advance,
Jimbo
