Installing issues.....

I switched from Windows Vista to Jaunty, and when Karmic came out I upgraded via the automatic update. However, when I upgraded I ended up with Ubuntu instead of Kubuntu. I'm wondering what happened and if there is a way I could switch over, being that I am a little better acquainted with Kubuntu. Thanks.

Install the package called "kubuntu-desktop"

The next time you login, there should some combo to select which DE to start

is your login manager still kdm? or did that change as well and you'r starting with gdm?

and can you see if you still have KDE as a choise it the seshons dropdown menu at the login screen.
