    KDE - 4.3.3

Has anybody updated their KK9.10's KDE to 4.3.3? I'd like to hear some feedback before attempting for at this moment I love KK9.10 as is, but if the new KDE has vital improvements, I'd like to update. Thanks!

I don't think Karmic on release had 4.3.3......

      KDE 4.3.3 has been released.

Users of our new 9.10 release can install it from the Kubuntu Updates PPA.

Nope, default on the CD is 4.3.2 You can go to the Kubuntu site and get the PPO and upgrade that way, I did.

Any problems after updating? On JJ using the PPA to update KDE cause quite a few oddities that I'm finally rid of with this fresh install of KK.

Runs good, didn't notice many changes but I run a couple of systems on two partitions, Ubuntu 9.10 (Dell_X02) and Linux Mint 8 Helena; both with Kubuntu desktops and KDE 4.3.3. They are i386. So far, so good.

kde 4.3.3 so far is very nice, have not seen anything crash, plasma is behaving it self, knetworkmanager seams to work better.other then a strange issue with my system settings, every thing in kde is just the way i like it. but i have no reason to suspect that issue is even related to the upgrade from 4.3.2

Seems to run smoothly! Karmic allowed this kind of upgrade better than Jaunty. Actually seems to run better than 4.3.2. Woot!

KDE 4.3.3 is running just fine here on 64 bit system. I have it installed on three desktops and one netbook.

Unfortunately, I had to downgrade to KDE 4.3.2 since 4.3.3 was crashing every ten minutes or so

i can not get this command:

                        'deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/ppa/ubuntu karmic main'

Q1: where can i do this command?
Q2: it should be 'deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/ppa/ubuntu/karmic/main/binary-i386/*.deb', right? But I can't find '*.deb' (or something) in the repository.

"deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/ppa/ubuntu karmic main" you put into Menu/Applications/System/Software Sources, Click the second tab and add it, then close. You should get a message to reload there. Do that then open Terminal and add these two lines one at a time for the key:
                            gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv 2836CB0A8AC93F7A
                            gpg --export --armor 2836CB0A8AC93F7A | sudo apt-key add -

Don't forget the hyphen on the end of the second line or it will not work. Then enter sudo aptitude dist-upgrade and you will get KDE 4.3.3

                              get this

'W: GPG error: http://ppa.launchpad.net karmic Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 2836CB0A8AC93F7A'

                              I then..

                              'gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv 2836CB0A8AC93F7A'

                              getting this message

'gpg: requesting key 8AC93F7A from hkp server keyserver.ubuntu.com
                              gpg: keyserver timed out
gpg: keyserver receive failed: keyserver error'

I think, I have to wait until the server is available and do the command again before I do the second command line

                              'gpg --export --armor 2836CB0A8AC93F7A | sudo apt-key add -'
