Error 127 - When upgrading from 9.04 to 9.10

Hello,

I'm trying to upgrade from 9.04 to 9.10.
Sadly, it failed the first time, because of a bad connection. It appeared that the system tried to rollback...

Now I've fixed the connection.

When I open KPackage, click the Karmic "link" in the Update section, I get this message:

Distribution upgrade process exited with code 127

Can I remove the old upgrade files or somehow trick it into retrying again?

I would try opening a konsole and doing

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

and see how that goes and what errors you may/maynot get

if you get errors coppy and past them hear.
