    [SOLVED] help with repos please

Just done clean install of kubuntu 9.10. All went well and it looks great. Unfortunately I cannot update. The update process stalls on es.archive---:

I have tried es and gb prefixes but no difference. Can anyone help with a good sources.list? Here is mine. Can anyone see any problems (BTW Internet connection is fine otherwise):

Just edit the /etc/apt/sources.list file (as root) and change every occurence of es.archive.ubuntu.com to us.archive.ubuntu.com (or another country near you). Save and close and then run sudo apt-get update again.
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Actually, this is what I tried es (Spain where I live) gb and us. None of them would connect.

I have now got a partial connect at least for the main restricted ones, by removing the country prefix altogether. Presumably this gives me the main ubuntu repo?

        I believe that is correct.

Yup - I got a full, correct, update/upgrade by deleting the country part of the mirrors. All OK now.

          Thanks
