[SOLVED] My Kubuntu looks like Ubuntu!

My front-end looks like the Ubuntu (Gnome) desktop, even though I upgraded from Kubuntu9.04 to 9.10. I tried to manually download kubuntu-desktop, but it shows:

    rane@Rez:~$ sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop
    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
kubuntu-desktop is already the newest version.
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
    binutils-static
Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded.
Failing that, I went to the recommended Ubuntu-Kubuntu installation guide on https://help.ubuntu.com/community/InstallingKDE, and attempted to download kde:

    rane@Rez:~$ sudo apt-get install kde
    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
Package kde is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package kde has no installation candidate
To no avail. There are Kubuntu applications like KPackageKit, Kontact, Kmail, just no sign of KDE. Any suggestions?

Now I feel a bit silly, but I figured instead of pulling the post, I would just mark it as solved instead...

In the initial Kubuntu login box, there are two small, round icons on the lower left-hand side. One of them gives you standard options like Reboot, Shut down, Switch user, etc. and the other give you the option to load the desktop in KDE. I clicked it, logged in, and everything was back to "normal."
