After trying to upgrade my Toshiba Satellite A10 to Lucid Lynx, I had to reinstall Karmic Koala from my old CD. No problem - a lot of upgrades, and I'm almost back where I were.
Only, I can't get the external monitor stick to 1280x1024 resolution; it will use 1024x768 (the laptop LCD resolution).
When I open System Settings, 1280x1024is there, and all I have to do is choose the VGA1 option, and the correct resolution is back. Nothing to change, noting to accept or deny.
It used not to be that way, it would go into the desktop at 1024x768, flicker a bit, and then to the correct 1280x1024.
Anyone know how to fix this?
