When I hook up logitech usb headset it shows up in hardware as 350 logitech and shows under the device preference in sound and video configuration. and when you click test sound it works. but when you raise it to top of list and go kmixer and set it to main. It does not work...nothing will use it for sound except the test button. I have read many google articles that explain what to do..but none of them as simple as they are to follow works.
I know this works great under gnome or ubuntu np but in kubuntu 9.10 and 10.04 its same problem. is there work around that is simple that can make all the applications use headset and mic because the menu under systems even when changed does nothing and in kmixer outside of glitch the bars for my main sound to where they dissappear.
