The other day when i was shutting down and had the audio muted and the led on stating that it was muted, I pressed the button to un-mute and my laptop shutdown. When I started the audio was on since on start i get a sound from the bios but on KDE is the kmix stated that the audio was muted and no sound was played from KDE.
If i use either mix or the audio button to un-mute the sound it works but the led is always reversed, it stays on when mute is off and off when the mute is on. I know i can "fix" it by shutdown and right before change the led state, but since I am not the only person using the laptop for the other users it is quite an annoyance that the led is counter intuitive and kde doesn't pick it up from the hardware on startup but from the last saved state.
Does anyone have the same problem how can we make sure that kmix picks the state from the hardware and not from a saved state?
