Just bought Creative HS-1200 headset. It works nicely with Amarok after changing the audio device from system settings, but it doesn't seem to work with vlc or wine even though I've set it has the preferred device in every place the sound and video configuration lets me. Does anyone have a solution for this?
Also is there anyway for it to work without changing the output device?
I'd prefer if it'd work so that the sound would be sent to both the analog audio device and the usb device so that i could just turn my home theater off when i want just the headphones or turn of the headphones when i want just the home theater.
