    [SOLVED] Screen Display Issue

Have recently been trying out various widgets and since then suddenly all program screens don't expand fully to the top of screen but leave a 1" or so gap at the top between program screen upper edge and usable screen top.

No idea what caused this and wonder if others have had similar issue?

I can manually re-size program screen to fit full monitor desktop.

Running Kubuntu x64 v9.10 with all current standard updates.

    UPDATE

It was due to an additional panel being opened at the top inadvertently. Removing it fixed the problem.

    See post:

Trying to search prior references to similar issues can be so trying when we have no fixed categories under which to create such posts.

Reminds me of the guy in the US army who went to get a zipper from the base store and was unable to locate it in the computer even though the item was plainly visible on the shelf.

It was listed as "An Interlocking Slide Fastener" !!!!
