Lost higher resolution nVidia Corporation NV43 [GeForce 6600 GT] (rev a2) SOLVED

Happy New Year all!!!

Today my screen resolution max is 800X600. That is the highest res shown in system settings/display. No idea why this happened.

I'm not a newbie but I must admit I'm almost lost as to how to reload my video drivers.

Dell Inspiron 531/AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 4GB RAM/GeForce 6150SE nForce 430
Kubuntu 16.04

Nevermind. I found it.
System/Hardware drivers. then select the driver you want. A note to those of you with the same video card, I had trouble with the recommended driver. I used the oldest one and it works fine.
