    Re: [SOLVED] Wireless produces errors.....

    I'm running the 64b KK 9.10 with KDE 4.3.4.
    VERY STABLE, VERY, VERY FAST.

I have 9 day old LL 10.4 on a LiveUSB.
Not very stable, but VERY, VERY FAST (even considering it's a LiveUSB).
The plasmoids crash and reload frequently.
NetworkManager didn't give me any problem but I prefer wicd so I installed it.

When LL goes gold I will definitely be reinstalling it on all my laptops.

Well wicd has been solid right now, so I'll stick with that. I really just don't know why Network-Manager decided to go south on me. I did do some updates but can't remember what was included. Hopefully LL will resolve the minor issues I have. If they do, whoa, that would be one nice system sure enough. Yeah, KK on my laptop is fairly fast for it's tech. I'm pleased even though I don't have full use of my graphics card (eye candy only, got used to it). With wicd installed it "appeared" to run faster on the Internet/network too. May be just the excitement of having wireless back but it did appear to load quicker, though I also did disable IPv6.
