I had Kubuntu running a few minutes ago and had used KNetwork Manager to open Samba and link to my Windows 7 Homegroup with ease. Now that I had a X Server error with Nvidia I had to reinstall. Now I can't get KNetwork Manager to open. I click on it and it does nothing. I also can't find Samba Server to open it on it's own.

Exactly!
That's one way Linux users can contribute to the ongoing improvement of Linux."A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people.”

Re: Can't get KNetwork Manager to run
Ok,
Thought I needed Network Manager to access Samba. I don't. Just went into Dolphin and clicked on my Homegroup and it asked me for my user name and password. I had immediate access to my Windows 7 device.
However, I still can't open Network Manager. Clicking on it does absolutely nothing.
