Printing A4 eventhough Letter selected

Hey all,

When I try to print anything from KDE, image, doc, etc, the printer always tries to print on A4 paper instead of Letter. I have Letter selected in the print manager AND in the properties from which I am printing. When I manually select A4 and then Letter again, then try to print, it prints Letter, but then falls back to default of A4 when I try to print again.

From a non KDE app, like firefox or thunderbird, I don't have this problem.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I used to have this exact problem, but I think it was fixed. It was a QT bug, IIRC. Sorry, don't know what to tell you to fix it, except maybe upgrade to the latest version of QT if you haven't already.

I am using KDE4.3.4 and the repos for that. Would the new QT be part of those or is there another source for it?
