    Audio Not being Controlled

    Hello
    i am using hp d530 s desktop pc. it has ADI SOUNDMAX INTEGRATED DIGITAL AUDIO Drivers. the problem is that when i mute the sound from the desktop it is never muted. although mute sign appears but still the computer speaker works. even though i attached head speakers with the pc still the head speakers doesnt work and the sound come from the computer built in speakers.
    Please help me out

    K -> System Settings -> KeyBoard & Mouse -> Global Keyboard Shortcuts
    Select KMix in the KDE Component combobox

    Search the list to make sure that "Volume Mute" is actually attached to the correct action

    If you need to change it, then assign the "Volume Mute" shortcut to the action that actually mutes your soundcard output

    OR

    Open KMix
    Settings -> Configure shortcuts
    Reassign the "Volume Mute" shortcut to the correct channel

      yes it is already attached to the correct action. i also tried with a custom command but it doesnt work.
