    Screen Refresh... Which one is Real?

    According to System Settings/Display My screen is running at 50Hz with a max of 52Hz...

    While NVIDIA X Server Settings says Flat Panel Information Refresh Rate: 60Hz

    Which one do I use to control the screen anyways? nvidia or the system settings one?

      If you have a Flat Panel, not a CRT, then the 60Hz reported by Nvidia is correct. I believe all flat screen computer monitors run at 60Hz - there is no 'range' for them.
      Windows no longer obstructs my view.
