HP Touchsmart tx2-1275dx; pen/stylus nonresponsive

I just installed Kubuntu 9.10 on my HP Touchsmart tx2-1275dx [specs]and the stylus is completely nonresponsive- it's as if the pen doesn't exist at all.

I'm very inexperienced with tablet PCs. I know I probably need Wacom drivers to use the stylus, but I don't know whether I even have them or not, or where to get the driver I need.

The wacom drivers need to be patched before they will start working with this touchscreen.
