[Solved] Amarok cannot edit track details

i'm using Amarok 2.3 on KDE 4.4.1. As the title suggests, my track details cannot be edited. But, this only happens to a few tracks randomly. When i check with another player, VLC, for instance, the id tag is already changed, but back in Amarok, it still shows the old name.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, delete config files from /home/tyw/.kde/share/config/ and /home/tyw/.kde/share/apps/ but that old name is still not changed.

Any idea what's wrong?

Same thing happened to me a few days ago. I solved it by shutting down amarok, doing a search for *amarok* in /home and renaming/deleting everything that showed up. After restarting amarok, everything was fine again 8)

I've tried that using the find function in dolphin and deleted all those files that came up, but it still shows the old name
