I just migrated my jaunty system to new hardware. I brought over my existing hard drive, so my installation is intact. The new motherboard uses different sound hardware, but I've dealt with that and I have sound in other applications. Except flash...
I've done the usual things, including dpkg-reconfigure and reinstall flashplugin-nonfree. Nothing I've tried so far has helped.
I'm scratching my head on this one. Why would changing hardware break sound only in flash?
SOLVED:
I went into kmix and raised the volume of the PCM channel. Presto, sound works in flash. Go figure.
