    [RESOLVED] nspluginviewer SIGSEGV

Just upgraded from Intrepid to Jaunty today. I'm getting a nspluginviewer SIGSEGV error when visiting my local papers website (www.adn.com). They have embedded video clips, and when they attempt to load, the nspluginviewer SEGSEGV error occurs. This is one of the links on that site:

    http://cdn-akm.vmixcore.com/core-fla...3.1.0.2710.swz

I decided to check youtube, and I have no problem with the video links loading and I can play them (video and sound) just fine.

I didn't have this problem in Intrepid. What am I missing? What do I need to check for or install?

    Re: nspluginviewer SIGSEGV

wint to the http://www.adn.com/ in konqueror and nspluginviewer stars showing in top. play the first news clip (scroling down) and nspluginviewer runs up 30-40% but plays........scroling down to the wales (medea)and allthough I can chose video or picturs no video will play.

    in firefox all plays fine

BUT I'm in karmic and KDE 4.3.2

    when I click the link
    http://cdn-akm.vmixcore.com/core-fla...3.1.0.2710.swz

in firfox it trys to download framework_3.1.0.2710.swz witch is a bin file.........it seas

and loading it in Konqueror gives

The file http://cdn-akm.vmixcore.com/core-fla...3.1.0.2710.swz is a binary, saving it will result in a corrupt file.
but loads a page full of alien text...........well alien to me

      Re: nspluginviewer SIGSEGV

I'd like to know what the difference is/was between Intrepid and Jaunty regarding nspluginviewer. As stated, it worked just fine in Intrepid. Yes, many don't care for Konqueror and say to just install Firefox (which I just did), but I do like Konqueror, and would like to have the same functionality using it in Jaunty that I had in Intrepid. There has to be a cause and a solution.

        Re: nspluginviewer SIGSEGV

It appears to be fixed. I un-installed and then reinstalled konqueror-nsplugins. The nspluginviewer no longer crashes.
