I want to have my box well prepared for 9.10, and took a look at my sources.list (I must confess that I never saw it before)
Two questions arise:
First, what is the purpose of the intrepid-backports? If I'm running Jaunty I should not need it, should I?
Second, the last line refers to a day when I enabled the PPA repository in order to have the latest Amarok. That nicely upgraded my KDE, but I saw this post http://www.kubuntu.org/node/110 announcing that KDE 4.2.4 has been moved from PPA to jaunty-backports. Help->About KDE gives me version 4.3.1.
Do I need to do something to keep the box healthy and prepared for 9.10?
