about the plasma widgets

Hi,

is there any way that the plasma widgets appears only when I push control-f12?? and not always in the background of my desktop??

Hmm - ? Maybe with the separate separate dashboard option. I have not tried this, but the Plasma FAQ(s) are telling:

Yes, it can. To configure it, click on the desktop cashew and zoom out. Choose "Configure Plasma" from the toolbox that it appears, and check the "Use a separate dashboard" option. Click on OK and you will have a different dashboard than your desktop when you access it.

As of KDE 4.1.0 it can, but currently (as of 4.2) there is no user interface available to configure this feature. An explanation of how to configure this manually can be found here.

Don't put the plasma widgets to the desktop - put them to the separate dashboard. Again - I have not tried this.
