Hi! im completely new to kde, and in the widgets i added the rss reader that comes with it, it works perfectly however, when i click on a feed that im interested in it opens it in konqueror and i would much rather have it opening in firefox but there aren't any options in the menu for browser choosing, any help appreciated. thanks

OK, assuming you HAVE firefox on your system, (as its not installed by default), you can go to application control in system settings and change it to use firefox as default for HTML, rss feeds, etc. Or, right click on any HTML file, choose 'open with', check the box for 'always open with', then scroll down menu to firefox and click it. It will reset kde prefs to use firefox for all in the future
