Where Do Installed Wallpapers Go? (SOLVED)

Right-click on Desktop > Appearance settings > Get New Wallpapers

By clicking on 'Picture' I can see the ten or so I have installed from the 'Get New Wallpapers" option.

When the 'Type' option is set to 'Image', I can choose the wallpaper I want and they appear okay.

But if I want to do a slideshow of my ten wallpapers the default folder is
    /usr/share/wallpapers
Navigating to this folder, I only see one image - the default 'air' desktop image.

My question is where are all the other images saved so that I can choose that folder to rotate them? I have looked everywhere.

      It's ~/.kde/share/wallpapers

In Dolphin, View -> (check) Show Hidden Files. Then it is easier to see all the "." directories... there is a lot to learn from checking those out. An example would be the ~/.bash_history file is very nice to know about...

Trouble is...I get a "Could not enter /.kde folder" highlighted in pink at the bottom of the window. I tried double clicking on .kde and got nothing and then right-clicked 'open in new tab' - the new tab opened but with the message above. The window itself was empty.

What do I need to learn now?

To not omit the tilde in ~/.kde. If the .kde directory (or "folder") were right inside the root directory, then /.kde would be correct. But it's not; it's inside your personal home directory, which can be abbreviated ~. So it's ~/.kde or, to use the full form, /home/your-user-name/.kde. You can use the ~ in place of /home/your-user-name in many places: in Dolphin and Konqueror, at the command line, in "Open/Save file" dialogues, and so on.
