[SOLVED] Weird unrar problem with ISOs.

FORGOT TO MOUNT ONE PARTITION OF HDD.

I've sat our marriage to the ledge of a ravine trying to google and find and try a solution to my unrar problem.

The thing is, ISOs just don't come up good, either *.rar fail with CRC-error at some package, or *.ISO just disappears just before completion to oblivion! Nothing I've seen before!

Any help is appreciated, please throw some ideas, and I'll check if I've already tried it.

    Edit: I'm running KDE 4.2.2

I've tried them both, free and non-free. Several re-installs via synaptic. Even did a fresh install of Jaunty. Yes, I know that was over the top.

edit: As eager as I am there seems to be both installed. Is that a known problem?

Like, not matter which *.rar or *.r00 I extract with ark or console or unrar, the final ISO ends up to be 12Mb, or 20Mb only. Not like 4,4Gb as it should.

Not at all. Especially when I messed up with flash-no-sound, with Kmixer sliders off.

Yes, I do have a s*it load of Disk Space.

            > it was an un-mount problem, stoopid me.
            Sigh...
When I did the clean install, of course I didn't mount the other partition of my HDD, the dev/sda1. All my rars where there. Found it out when I moved one rar to /home, and unrar worked OK.

I feel like removing the whole thread, but then again, this might be useful to someone.
