    the exit icons have disappeared

Hi, It's something weird but the exit icons except "change user" have disappeared and appears "?" instead. I tried another user and all works fine, I don't know what can I do to find the icons I missed.

    thank you.

    Hi,

I think it's in System Settings, I think it's Session Management or similar name. You can configure there which logout options you want to be offered. I would hope that resetting this to the Defaults (there is a button for that) would help ...

Sometimes the KDE icon cache could get mangled. If this is the problem - you could try to move/rename/remove the kde-icon-cache files.

You could find the kde-icon-cache files: /var/tmp/kdecache-<USERNAME>/kpc/. There are:

      - kde-icon-cache.data
      - kde-icon-cache.index
      - kde-icon-cache.updated

You might need to clear the icon cache (even a restart is not guaranteed to do that):
      rm /var/tmp/kdecache-$USER/kpc/kde-icon-cache.*

I would use the Dolphin and move the kde-icon-cache files to the safe place...

If nothing helps, try to install Lock/Lockout widget with Add Widgets.
Kubuntu 16.04 on two computers and Kubuntu 17.04 on DELL Latitude 13

thank all of you for your help! It was a cache problem, as rog131 said, I just wrote rm /var/tmp/kdecache-$USER/kpc/kde-icon-cache.*
and I recovered all my lost icons!!

the more I use kubuntu the more I love it!
