C-Media USB headphones don't work?

I just installed 9.04 earlier today. My USB headphones don't work, which is a big problem for me seeing as they're my only speakers. lsusb sees them, but alsa only sees a headphone entry. KMix sees the headphones, but I can't get Konqueror or FireFox to use them as default, nor can I get Amarok to use them. Any help? They're detected, but they won't output sound.

Do they show in System Settings -> Multimedia? You need to put them first in the device list for everything ...
