Differant windows on each desktop

Hello there, at the moment i have 2 desktops, but no matter which one i go on, my taskbar still has the same buttons on it....is there any way to make it do what Gnome does, which is make seperate tasks go on its individual desktop?

I know there was an option in the older versions of KDE to do this, i just cannot find it in this newer version, can anyone just point me in the right direction?

Any help i have found is mostly old and says i need to right click my taskbar and choose taskbar settings and uncheck a box....but i do not see this.

Yes, right-click on the Taskbar, choose Task Manager Settings, and check one of the Filters from the General tab. For example, "Only show tasks from the current desktop".

Indeed, although you need to right-click on whitespace annoyingly; if you happen to have the tasks filling up the entire Taskbar then you're going to have to close something or open enough to force another line to get the options! At least, as far as I can tell.

But yeah, you can choose "Only show tasks from the current desktop", "Only show tasks from the current screen", and "Only show tasks that are minimized" as filters.

Ahha! That was it, thank you KeithZG, i thought i had clicked white space when i clicked one of the areas just next a window, apparantly not :P
