I was just trying to mount something in my KDE session, when I ran into the fact that Dolphin's sidebar is now just showing Home, Network, Root and Trash; previously the sidebar had shown all my mounted and unmounted volumes, ie. my partitions and USB drives and optical discs, and from this things could be mounted and unmounted, but now it's just those four links.
The Open File dialog has similarly changed, in fact the only place I can actually seem to get the normal list of volumes is in Lancelot's "Computer" section, which has the "Removable" and "Fixed" categories and lists all the applicable there. Now sure, I do love Lancelot, but where's the functionality gone for every other application? I can't seem to figure out how to add it back. And yes, I know all about the Device Notifier plasmoid, I'd just like more than one way, especially since Plasma often hangs on me.
(And the mp3 player I was plugging in doesn't seem to even show up in Lancelot, despite being mounted just fine earlier today, but I'm more willing to chalk that up to SanDisk firmware than anything else, heh).
