Blocked Updates

Hi,

I'm getting a set of updates are apparently blocked. They sit there in the Software Update window and I don't why or how to get rid of them.

There is more ways to get rid of the blocked updates, but the most simple I think is to install Synaptic from repository and to do update with it.
Warning: If the blocked updates are kernel updates and if you compiled some drivers by yourself before, you must recompile them to make them work after update to the new kernel version.

Hi!
After some searching of diffrent forums I opted for:
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
It worked perfectly for me
