    top (or KInfoCenter) will tell you how much memory is being used to run your system -- probably it is less than 1GB most of the time, especially if you shut down the browser and other stuff before you S2RAM. So I think S2RAM probably will work on that laptop, with running packages shut down first.


    And what if it's suspended for days and the battery dies?
    That's a deal-killer for S2RAM
