You know that not all the websites use the flash player to play their music files, but do just like me. I visit a lot of worldwide sites as I know some languages and I see so. I wonder how you listen to the music when you visit those website while your browser doesn't have a plug-in that show up a player in it to play the file Do you get it? If you visit my site above, can your browser play the file, if can, what's the plug-in. I need that. What I need is a plug-in that can show up a player in a browser such as firefox and opera to play the music (mp3, wma, wav...) or movie(avi, wmv...) directly. If the problem cannot be solved, I think it's time I said goodbye to Kubuntu

Can you give us a specific address, that we can go to, where the music is embedded. You mention the mp3 in your blog. Can you give the address of that?

Hello, here is for kubuntu 9.04, so there is only kpackageit! I have searched the mozilla-mplayer plugin, but I had no result . Then I installed the totem player, opera detected its plugin, but when I tested, it didn't work. After that I installed the vlc player, but it didn't work, either. Any other suggestions?

If you cannot solve some flash in Firefox better way install mediaplayerconnectivity Firefox plugin (add-on) and try it.

I think this won't help since firefox will open a player, in that case I manually copy the address and past to the player, instead! Any other suggestions?

I just got it to work.

I had Mplayer plugin and a grey square was visible, with no indication of what to do. When I clicked on the grey square I got controls - but no music played.

I wanted the music to autoplay. I installed (I think) Mozplugger, Totem plugin and Xine plugin and rebooted. Diffferent controls appeared and the music autoplayed. It played once and stopped. Trying the controls didn't get the music to play again.

I think what I should now do is remove then one by one and reboot inbetween to find out what is making it work...
