When I click on my K menu at the lower left corner it has changed from the KDE 4 look to the old KDE 3 look. I don't know what happened, it was fine last night. I remember that in KDE 3 you could right click on the K menu icon and change the look but I can not on KDE 4 Version 4.2.95 (KDE 4.2.95 (KDE 4.3 RC1)). How do I get this back? Thanks

Re: K menu changed
I am sorry this reply is of no help really, but as it seems you are using a laptop and as a consolation for you I use a Dell Inspiron laptop and for no reason at all the focus of the page jumps around as if it has a mind of its own. Further the I bar cursor (when typing) will just decide to go to another part of the page.
I can not figure any reason why this should happen, its just that as I do not use the laptop that much I put up with it and be careful when typing input.
Cheers

Re: K menu changed
I have that exact same problem with my Acer Aspire One. However, it's not only a problem with Ubuntu but happens with Windows as well.
The only explanation I have is that when I try to type too fast I get my hands too close to the touchpad and it is too sensitive to what I'm used to. What I'm used to is to type in a full size laptop where this never, ever happens.

Re: K menu changed
Yes I often think it is something like that. I feel the Dell machine whilst very good does not have a firm enough "plate" where the touchpad is and any taps on that covering affect the circuitry underneath. In the end of the day there is nothing like a good solid keyboard you can thump!
