B. my phone can see my laptop but i just cant get kbluetooth4 (v 0.3) to see my phone and create a trusted pair.
When i goto kbluetooth -> device manager -> new - > bluetooth device wizard - > select device type > input device (hopefully this includes my phone? not just mouse and keybd) , it just searches and searches.... i get nothing.
C. the funny thing is when i select kbluetooth -> send file. it can detect my hphone and it can send a file over succesfully.
D. From my phone, when i try to resend the same file back, an error message pops us saying "Cannot connect to the obex device. Its either not accessible or does not support selected service"
Why does this happen?
E. From this forum , i have read posts suggesting to install blueman and remove kbluetooth? Also that gnome-obex-server should be installed?
These are the packages that i have;
~$ dpkg --get-selections|grep -i obex
libopenobex1 install
obex-data-server install
~$ dpkg --get-selections|grep -i blue
bluetooth install
bluez install
bluez-alsa install
bluez-cups install
bluez-gstreamer install
bluez-utils install
kdebluetooth install
libbluetooth3 install
Any input would be much appreciated.? Sorry for the long post? This bluetooth thingy was the main reason i shifted from mandriva 2009.
