When I tried a right mouse click and "close" on an active app from the task bar, I inadvertently removed the whole whatever that lists all the windows. Now I cannot find how to get it back.
Any help would be appreciated.
It wasn't listed as "task bar" or "task manager", but I stumbled upon it while doing something else. Go figure.
This is one major problem for all computing systems, the disparity of terms to identify the same thing. I can understand it across distros, but within a distro there should be a dictionary of acceptable terms that is checked (could be via spell check) so everyone is not only on the same page, but using the same word.
