    moving panel widgets [solved]

    Hi,

How do you move panel widgets around? Mine are messed up-I have the clock in the middle of the panel etc.

Also, when I plug in my mp3 player, the panel device notifier widget recognises it at as 'MCSN', no problem transfering files over, but how do you do a safe remove? I tried clicking on the up arrow next to the device name on the device notifier but KDE4 just froze and I had to log out and in again?

    Thanks for any help.

    Thanks for the help

This one is a couple of steps:

First, unlock the widgets. You should now see a small cashew on the far right of the panel.

Click that cashew. This will bring up a panel options menu above (or below, if the panel is on the top if the screen) the panel. At this point, your cursor will turn into a four-way arrow if you mouse-over any of the widgets in your panel. Feel free to move them to your heart's content.
    # make install --not-war

.... and then don't forget to "lock widgets" when you are done.
