    Dynamic wallpaper? [solved]

    Perhaps I'm being daft, but how do I get the weather wallpaper feature? I have the kde 4.3 beta2 installed and I can't find the dynamic wallpaper feature anywhere. I've checked the repos, etc and nothing looks like what I want.

    I have not found it available in the updated KDE for Jaunty. It is included and working well in Karmic at this time, however. I'm looking forward to the dynamic wallpapers in Jaunty, as well, as they are wonderful in Karmic.

      Just updated today and found the wallpaper widgets. Now I don't have to go outside anymore, the weather is on my desktop!

          They installed with
          sudo apt-get update
          sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
          <edit> the packages you need are probably a dependency of plasma or kdm

          automatically. Then rightclick on the desktop >> desktop settings and select Type under the wallpaper section.
