In Dolphin you can
Settings > Configure Dolphin > General
has many options: such as confirmation moving files or folders to trash, show delete command in menus,
Settings > Configure Dolphin > Trash has options such as delete files older than 1 or more days
(You choose how many days)
This may help you. You can delete files without having them go into the trash, and have the choice of confirmation for this, or not. You can have the trash emptied automatically after a minimum of one day.
Thank you for your reply.
So far, I have not found a way to remove the confirmation screen.
I opened Dolphin, clicked on Settings -> Configure Dolphin -> General.
Then removed the checkmark in front of Ask for Confirmation when Deleting files or folders.
I then tested the removal of a file from the trash but the confirmation screen came up again.
Then looked all around the Dolphin configuration screen but found no way to remove the pesky trash delete confirmation screen.
