I'm using Kubuntu 4.2.4 and Amarok 2.0.1 and would like to upgrade to 2.1. I added "deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/backports/ubuntu jaunty main" to my repositories. I did this like this:
Opened KPackageKit, cliked on settings, and "Edit software sources". On "Third-Party Software" tab I ckicked on "+ Add..." button and pasted "deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/backports/ubuntu jaunty main" without quotes. Then on "Software Updates" I clicked "Apply all available updates".
Then I opened Konsole and typed "sudo apt-get update" and that also didn't work either.
All this didn't get me Amarok 2.1. What am I doing wrong?
