KDevelop missing most new project templates

I recently installed 9.04 from scratch on a machine and proceeded to install KDevelop on it to play around with some code. Once installed I ventured into the Projects|New from Template... option and fount that to only available choice was a qt (cmake) choice. After much probing around in the Add/Remove Software area, I was able to add a small list of C++ KDE templates, qt (qmake), PyKDE4, PyQt4 and Ruby templates to the list. However, under C++-->KDE, the list only contains about five items and ones like Simple KDE Application and Application Framework are missing.

My experience with KDevelop at work and in previous versions of KDE indicate that this list should contain about a dozen items. Does anyone know what packages or configuration changes need to be made to fill out the list of templates that are available?

    Thanks.
