How do I remove the taskbar tooltip in Kubuntu 9.04

It is very annoying and I can't seem to find the option to
disable tooltip. Can anyone tell the clear path to disable
this tooltip. When I hover over the taskbar I get a big
banner saying that google is open in firefox.

Also can you also tell me a way to disable grouping of
similar applications in the taskbar for "all applications" ?
It gives me an option to disable grouping for some
applications when I right-click on the taskbar. But
I want to disable it for all applications.

    Regards,
    Maindoor.

In Task Manager Settings (right click on Task Manager), under General, Appearance there's a Show Tooltips checkbox.

On the same page under Grouping & Sorting, there's a Do Not Group option.

This is on KDE 4.2.3 by the way.
