Sound volume boost

Hi.

My volume is below what seems to be max in other operating systems.

Any hints on boosting output sound volume or a hardware hack or something?

Thanks, but my sound card is working. I am only looking for a volume boost if possible.

I tried to add model = lenovo but nothing changed.

I dunno why your Master gain says 0. Mine says 13.50 dB, but it looks like yours.

I use alsamixergui -- but I'm sure there is something happening "underneath" it.
