    Why is Pan still at version 0.132?

    This may not be the most important question, but I am curious:

    Why is the version Pan included in the official repositories still at 0.132? The latest version is 0.133. On the project's website: http://pan.rebelbase.com, users are recommended to upgrade to the latest version because of security fixes.

    Version 0.133 was released on August 1,2008.

    If anyone can explain, it would be much appreciated.

    The Ubuntu is a Debian derived Linux distribution. Many packages don't have "own" Ubuntu maintainer.

    With the Pan:

    Maintainer:
    * Ubuntu Core Developers

    Original Maintainers (usually from Debian):
    * Mario Iseli
    * Norbert Tretkowski

    At the development phase > Karmic open for development
    Following a brief period while we got the toolchain into shape, the
    Karmic Koala is now open for general development. Please remember to
    wear your seat-belt, and remember that bugs in the rear-view mirror
    may be closer than they appear. Automatic syncs from Debian will begin
    shortly.
    I think that the Ubuntu is getting stuff from the Debian sid.

    The search with the Debian packages > Debian/pan tells:
    You have searched for packages that names contain pan in all suites, all sections, and all architectures.
