Kopete crashes after msn login

I'm using kopete on kubuntu 9.04. Some times it connects to msn and works perfectly, but most of times it crashes immediatelly after msn login.
Later I also included ICQ and Gtalk networks, they worked fine, but when kopete tries to connect to msn network it crashes.
My wife and my daughter also uses Kopete and it doesn't happen with them.
The difference is that my contact list is bigger, around 50 contacts.
I also think that this can be happening because of network data loss. I use wifi provider.
Anyway, I think kopete should be able to handle that.
Anyone has the solution?

if you want instant messaging, you can try pidgin from repository, if you need kopete, I have no solution. With pidgin, you can at least see, if problem is outside or inside kopete.

I already tried aMSN and it works.
I would like to use kopete because it is multi protocol (by default) and it is from kde family so I think I would save resources with this.

Pidgin is multiprotocol by default too and on Windows takes its installer with GTK+ dependencies and Aspell 14 MB, so if you won't succeed with kopete it is at hand for all your networks.
