Hi everyone,
I was wondering whether packages of Amarok 2.1 beta2 (2.0.96) are already released for Kubuntu? This version was released last Thursday, May 14th. They are available for OpenSUSE, but not in the experimental ppa of Kubuntu (as said on the download page).
Some parts of KDE have been upgraded to 4.1.3, because of the first beta install. Is there any way to downgrade everything back to the way it was (to Amarok 2.02)? Because now I have an annoying bug after start-up with Kwallet (if I type the password too late, the whole computer freezes, forcing me a reboot).
Last question: if someone can help me to resolve audio issues (sometimes a cracking sound can be heard) that would be nice. I read that it was possible to revert back to the old ALSA system if Phonon/PulseAudio does not support your soundcard (which is HDAnVdia in my case, I believe).
