Kontact folder location

Is it possible to change the default folder for Kontact and the associated programs such as Korganizer, Kmail etc. from "/home/<my name>/.kde/share/apps/" to a folder on my "data" partition?

Running Kubuntu 9.04 Jaunty (64 bit) KDE 4.2.3 with all updates.

Yes, you can this by linking your kmail/akregator/kabc/korganizer and whatever else you use from your data partition to ~/.kde/share/apps

I also moved link the rc files into my data partition and link them to their original place in ~/.kde/share/config
