I recently ran into a problem running BitPim 1.0.6. After reading several forums, I found out that 1.0.6 has several problems. So I manually installed BitPim 1.0.5 using:
sudo dpkg -i --force-architecture bitpim_1.0.5_i386.deb
That fixed my BitPim problem.
Now Update Notifier is popping up with a "Blocked Update". If I hover over the update manager, I show 9 updates. But if I open it, I only have the blocked update.
How do I tell Update Notifier/KDE Control Manager/KPackageKit to ignore checking the bitpim package so that the working version of BitPim sticks in the system without blocked update?
